Yubikey. Once you’ve tried it, you won’t go back

For the past few months now HackingInsider has been using a YubiKey for all of its second factor authentication. There have been many ups and downs but as it stands the experience has provided us with peace of mind throughout.

yubikeyAt present were using the YubiKey WordPress plugin by Henrik Schack. The plugin offers a clean and guided way to set up a Yubikey with any WordPress site. The plugin also allows for some accounts to be set up without Yubikeys and for others to be set up with multiple Yubikeys, this allowing for true customisation of accounts.

Over the past few months of testing the device, I can honestly say that HackingInsider will not be going YubiKeyless any time in the foreseeable future. This being due to its ease of use and the added security it brings.

If you’d like to know more about the range of Yubikeys out there then check out the previous HackingInsider article or check out the Yubico website.
