New technology trends in 2016
VR has been around for some time but up until now it has not taken as big a hold as some had hoped. 2016 is likely to be the year when VR really starts to become mainstream with companies including Samsung and HTC launching new VR products and speaking of big plans for the near future.
Whilst the automotive industry has seen a leap forward with in-car technology in the past 24 months 2016 is likely to see many new advancements including in car entertainment, voice and gesture control as well as advancements in self-drive technologies. Big players in this field of technology include BMW, Toyota and Tesla.
Logistics and deliveries:
Leading up to 2016 there has been much talk of plans for improve delivery times including the use of drones and other unmanned vehicles to that effect. In 2016 though we are likely to see these plans coming in to fruition.
2016 is going to be a big year for space travel and related technologies with India planning to launch its first manned space flight as well as Russia’s plans to launch the first “space hotel”.
